Pretty much the same with any bird, be pigeon or pheasant or whatever. I personally never carry a priest. Just a jerk on the neck, handy fence post, hide pole, even your boot tip. I have even use the lower barrel on my gun before now. I had to "re-educate" a gun on our shoot, Trying to wring necks, all HE got, was headless birds to bag up. But, as with badly Shot birds, they got them back at the end of the day(Eyes like a shit hawk)
There are "tools" for doing this, a bit like nutcrackers, but just extra garbage to carry around in my mind. _________________ Nil illegitimi carborundum
